that was a short lived car, its a perfect example of the transition from gassers to funny cars. I still prefer Ohio Georges 33 Willy's.

Yup Ford wanted him to run a Ford engine and body so he went from Willys to Mustang.

I'm surprised the cars wheel base isn't altered. The AF/X cars were still big in 67-68. You had Bruce Larson with the first fiberglass bodied AF/X car (66 Chevelle) then I think mercury later that year introduced the flopper comet. The 60s were Drag Racings golden years. Cars were outdated by mid season every year it seemed like.
